"Hims peptides: what Hims sells and what's coming"

What Hims & Hers has said about peptides: sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione by year-end, BPC-157 waiting on the FDA, its peptide plant, and what to compare at launch.

By Julian Caraulani · Updated October 30, 2026 · Reviewed by Dr. A. Goher, MBBS

Hims & Hers has told investors it plans to sell sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione by the end of 2026, and that it will wait for final FDA rules before offering BPC-157 or TB-500. We found no published Hims peptide price on October 30, 2026. Until it launches, prescription sermorelin starts at $94 a month elsewhere; see the live price table.

Everything below is limited to what Hims & Hers has said publicly (on earnings calls, in SEC filings, and as quoted by reputable press) plus what we could and could not check. Where a claim rests on a single report, we say so. We do not guess at prices or dates.

What Hims has said about peptides, in order

Date What was said or filed Source
February 2025 Hims acquired a peptide manufacturing facility, per its later 10-Q SEC 10-Q, filed Aug 10, 2026
July 2026 Hims signed an agreement to bring peptide API manufacturing in-house, per the same 10-Q SEC 10-Q
Aug 10, 2026 Second-quarter earnings call: sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione planned before year-end; the six peptides reviewed by FDA's advisory committee wait for final rules Bloomberg Government, Medical Daily
Oct 28, 2026 HHS issued its interim peptide policy; Hims shares rose about 6% that day, per Yahoo Finance Yahoo Finance

Sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione: planned for year-end

These three are the "already allowed" part of the plan. Bloomberg Government reported on August 11, 2026 that Hims is "preparing to sell already allowed popular compounds including sermorelin and glutathione" (Bloomberg Government). Medical Daily, covering the same call, wrote that the company "plans to begin selling sermorelin, glutathione, and NAD+ before the end of the year" (Medical Daily).

On October 28, Yahoo Finance summarized it this way: "Hims does plan to offer NAD+, sermorelin and glutathione by year-end under existing compounding pathways." (Yahoo Finance)

Why these three can already be sold: NAD and glutathione sit in FDA's Category 1, "Bulk Drug Substances Under Evaluation" (FDA, list updated May 14, 2026), where FDA does not intend to act against compounders who meet its conditions. Sermorelin was once an FDA-approved drug (Geref); our sermorelin FDA status guide explains why pharmacies compound it today. None of the three is an FDA-approved product in compounded form.

BPC-157 and TB-500: waiting on final FDA rules

On the August call, CEO Andrew Dudum said: "We are waiting on full and final rulemaking from the FDA, and so that could come in a lot of different forms and factors." (Glossy)

He also said Hims has "started validation and stability testing on APIs for those peptides developed in our Menlo Park" facility (Glossy).

The HHS policy issued on October 28 is not the rulemaking Dudum described. It is an interim enforcement-discretion policy: HHS "does not intend to take enforcement action against a State-licensed pharmacy, Federal facility, or licensed physician compounding a drug product using a peptide bulk drug substance found in Appendix A," and it "is not binding on HHS or the public." (Federal Register) Yahoo Finance noted the same day that the notice "falls short of" what Hims said it was waiting for (Yahoo Finance).

So, as of October 30, 2026, Hims has not said whether it will launch BPC-157 under the interim policy or keep waiting for a final rule.

Hims BPC-157: "coming soon"?

Third-party reviews report that a Hims peptide page lists BPC-157 and TB-500 as coming soon with a waitlist. We could not confirm this: hims.com returned an access-denied error to our reader on October 30, 2026, and we found no archived copy of a Hims peptide page. Treat any Hims BPC-157 price or date you see on a third-party site as unconfirmed until it appears on hims.com.

If you want BPC-157 now through a licensed program, our BPC-157 price page lists published plans, currently from $149 a month. Our guide is BPC-157 legal? covers the status, and BPC-157 side effects covers what little human data exists.

What Hims says about making peptides itself

Hims's own filings are the firmest source on its peptide plans. Its quarterly report filed August 10, 2026 says: "in February 2025, we acquired a peptide manufacturing facility (and related assets)" and "As an FDA-registered API manufacturer, we are subject to regulatory requirements" (SEC 10-Q).

The same filing describes a July 2026 deal: "the Company entered into a one-time agreement with a company in the peptide manufacturing industry to obtain the expertise and technology necessary for the Company to independently manufacture certain peptide active pharmaceutical ingredients" (SEC 10-Q).

It also says Hims fills prescriptions through partner pharmacies and "wholly-owned pharmacies" (SEC 10-Q). An in-house API source matters under the HHS policy, which requires ingredients from FDA-registered makers. It does not by itself say anything about price or launch timing.

FDA warning letters on record

FDA's warning-letter database lists two letters to Hims & Hers Health, Inc. dated September 9, 2025 (one for Hims, one for Hers). They concern marketing claims for compounded semaglutide, a weight-loss drug, not peptides of the kind covered here (FDA warning letter). We searched the database on October 30, 2026. A warning letter is FDA's notice of a concern, not a court finding, and companies often respond by changing their claims. We include it because it is the same check we run on every program.

What to compare when Hims launches peptides

When a Hims peptide page goes live, these are the numbers and terms we will check, and the ones worth checking yourself:

Check Why it matters
All-in monthly price, with the plan length The lowest monthly figures elsewhere need 6- or 12-month prepayment
Any membership or consult fee Some programs split these out of the drug price
Labs and follow-up Superpower and Hone Health include labs; most programs do not
Pharmacy: named, and 503A or 503B The HHS policy covers 503A compounding only
Single peptide or blend The HHS policy does not cover blends
States served State pharmacy boards are not bound by the HHS policy
Refund terms before and after approval Many programs refund nothing once an order is placed
FDA status wording It should say compounded and not FDA-approved

Current programs, scored on these points, are on our best peptide programs page. For a step-by-step on how online peptide prescribing works, see how to get peptides prescribed online. For the one large program already taking BPC-157 preorders, see our Superpower peptides guide.

FAQ

Hims peptides: what does Hims sell and what's coming?

Hims & Hers said on its August 10, 2026 earnings call that it plans to sell sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione by the end of 2026. For BPC-157, TB-500 and the other peptides reviewed by FDA's advisory committee, it said it would wait for final FDA rules. We found no published Hims peptide price on October 30, 2026.

Does Hims sell BPC-157?

Not that we could confirm on October 30, 2026. Hims's CEO said in August that the company is waiting on full and final FDA rulemaking, and that it has started stability testing on peptide ingredients at its Menlo Park facility. Third-party sites report a coming-soon listing, but hims.com blocked our reader, so we could not verify it.

Does Hims sell sermorelin?

Hims said in August 2026 that it plans to offer sermorelin before the end of the year. On October 30, 2026 we found no Hims sermorelin price or plan. Other programs sell compounded sermorelin today; our price table lists each published plan with its source.

When will Hims launch peptides?

Hims has given "by year-end" for sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione, with no exact date we could find. It has given no date for BPC-157 or TB-500. Its third-quarter results are due on November 9, 2026, and we will update this page if it announces timing then.

Is the HHS peptide policy the FDA approval Hims was waiting for?

No. The October 28, 2026 HHS notice is an interim enforcement-discretion policy, not FDA approval and not a final rule. HHS says it can revisit it and that it binds no one. Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved. We checked the notice on October 30, 2026.

What should I compare before choosing a Hims peptide plan?

Compare the all-in monthly price and plan length, any membership fee, whether labs are included, the pharmacy and whether it is 503A, the states served, and the refund terms. Our best-programs page scores current programs on the same points.
